Friday, October 25, 2024, Alfito Yuro Yudistiro, a student from the Management Study Program at the Faculty of Business, President University, has once again achieved success with the start-up company he built with his team, PT Tococo Indonesia Berkah. This time, he secured the 3rdRunner-Up award in the Food and Beverage category at the Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (KMI) Expo. This expo is the final event of the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology at Halu Oleo University, Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi.

Alfito’s journey to participate in the KMI Expo was not easy. In early February 2024, he began his participation in P2MW with a business proposal selection at the university level. After passing the university level, he advanced to the selection conducted by P2MW. With Alfito’s proposal succeeding at the P2MW level, he received the opportunity to undergo various coaching sessions and funding for his start-up business in mid-April.

For all participants who passed the P2MW selection, they were given time until September 2024 to develop their businesses and report the results. During this time, Alfito worked hard to grow his business. He received substantial support and assistance from Setsail BizAccel, the business incubator at President University. Among the many reports submitted, some received invitations to participate in the KMI Expo, and Alfito was one of them.

Alfito traveled to Kendari accompanied by Bima Arya Wicaksono from Setsail BizAccel. During the KMI Expo, from Tuesday to Friday, October 22-25, 2024, Alfito introduced various products to the judges and attendees at the expo. Using his pitching skills learned from various training sessions, including those from Setsail BizAccel, Alfito brought home the 3rd Runner-Up award in the Food and Beverage c

  On Friday, October 25, 2024, President University (Presuniv) held a meeting with various alumni who are currently working in embassies, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
